I got tied up at work last night…a pretty neat last-minute project that needed my attention. I was excited to help, but there was no way I was going to make it home in time to relieve our nanny. A pleading ping to my husband <simon is typing> “No problem. I’ve got it babe.” teamwork. I finished…

So weird - only Saturday night I was corrected by a friend when I said thats what I do, big crocodile tears, (during weddings - esp the royal wedding etc) and she let me know I was fake crying! I had no idea thats what it meant!

In my last post, I mentioned shedding crocodile tears after watching a particularly touching Chrome Ad

Emily’s right. Happy, successful people are that way because they stepped out of their comfort zone and took risks. I’d like to think I’ve done that and will continue to do that in my career, and build one i’m proud of.

Can I share some good news?

what i would tell my younger self...(between ages...
1. You will fall in love again. So put down the phone and stop drunk texting him!
2. Don’t move in with friends. EVER. Your friendship WILL be ruined. Whether this is because you are difficult to be with or they are, who cares, don’t do it!
3. Don’t get a credit card. End of story. Because four years later you are still paying off that trip to Canada, New York, Aspen…

I always get excited when Kat posts! Especially friendship-inspired posts - i’m 25 and this year have had a lot of pesky friendship dramas. (Way worse than boyfriend dramas!)

He was nice but…
kind of got annoyed whenever I told him I was too busy to meet him. He brought up the fact I was busy a lot.
He stopped texting me…

There are literally thousands of videos and photos of things we did in Spain - midnight Paella dinners in the square of the village, with everyone young and old sharing together in a meal and dancing late into the night.
Afternoons spent laying in the sun on a blanket in the backyard of the house…

that is to say that social events, however fun and wild and even comforting, exhaust me.
i have an amazing time with all of my friends old and new and i love being in those moments. and then i hit a wall…
Kudos!! Those are my fave kind of days.
